Shift Work
Shift work is work in which the same role is done by different groups of workers in rotation. Examples include nurses, warehouse pickers, bartenders, cleaners, and wait staff. Shift work is done across industries. Working in shifts offers greater flexibility than a 9 am. to 5 p.m. shift. However, managing shift workers also requires more time and effort in scheduling. Solutions include using shift scheduling software or a shift scheduling template.
